PRE-SEASON PROGRAMS
Pre-Season Clinics are hour-length sessions designed to help players sharpen their skills, get in skating shape, and get some practice in before or early in the season. Sessions focus on drills that review age-appropriate skills commonly assessed at tryouts and also include small area or full-ice games to review game-like situations. Players already in season and looking for more ice time also welcome! Programs, pricing and registration information below:

2022 High School Pre-Season Prep Clinics
High School Pre-Season Prep Clinics are designed for experienced female, female identifying, and non-binary players who will be playing high school hockey in the 2022-2023 season (including those who will be trying out for their respective teams as 8th graders).
Sessions will include fast-paced drills designed to review important skills and concepts commonly seen at high school level tryouts and practices, while helping players get in hockey shape before the season. Sessions will include skills-focused warm ups, full and half ice flow drills, conditioning exercises, and small area/full ice games.

About Goalie Coach Taylor Peltier

Taylor grew up playing hockey in Cranston, RI before playing goalie for LaSalle Academy boy’s and girl’s hockey teams, winning 2 state championships and 2 RI All-State selections. She then played junior hockey for the New England Hockey Club in the JWHL, where she earned a position on the league’s All-Star team. Taylor then attended the University of Vermont, where she was captain of the D2 men’s roller hockey team, and studied biology and chemistry.
Taylor started her coaching journey in RI working with youth programs. With her move to VT, she joined Girls 4 Hockey, coaching both goalies and players on skill development. While continuing her time with G4H, she spent 1 year with the RICE
Varsity girl’s team as an assistant coach. Currently, Taylor coaches the RICE Prep girl’s team, concentrating on defensive players and goalies.
Taylor’s coaching style is dependent on the individual she is working with, as she tailors her explanations to the different learning styles and personalities of her athletes. She focuses on proper technique, core and leg strength, and a positive mentality. Instruction is based on building and maintaining a strong foundation and developing skills to utilize in game-like situations.
