Coed Youth Pop-Up Clinics

In collaboration with Light the Lamp Hockey School/Post 2 Post Goaltending, G4H will be hosting several "pop-up clinics" throughout the year, serving youth players of all genders.  Sessions will led by Girls 4 Hockey Head Coach Meghan Sweezey and Light the Lamp Hockey/Post2Post Goaltending Head Coach Leon Lifschutz and supported by both G4H and P2P/LTL staff.  Sessions may vary in topic, design, and areas of focus.  Specific information on each upcoming clinic, including any age or skill restrictions, can be found below.  More sessions will be posted as ice time becomes available.

Players are placed in small groups by age and skill level.  Participants will spend the first hour (10:20am - 11:20am) working on shooting technique, walking through several different shot types (wrist, snap, flip, forehand and backhand) with lots of reps and coach feedback. At 11:20am, players get a 10 minute break during an ice make, then take the ice from 11:30am - 12:30pm to apply their skills on goalies from P2P's goalie clinic in game concept drills and small area games as they learn to execute skills under pressure.

$70 - Birth Years 2011 - 2019

Held in tandem with the Shooting & Goal Scoring Clinic, the P2P/G4H Goaltending Clinic will spend the first hour (10:20am - 11:20am) with goalies receiving technical instruction on positioning, angles, movement patterns, puck tracking, post play, rebound control, and recovery.   At 11:20am, there will be a 10 minute break to make ice.  Then, from 11:30am - 12:30pm, goaltenders will combine with the shooting clinic and will receive shots from similarly-skilled players that mimic game scenarios.  First in drills, then in small area games.  During this time, goalie coaches will also provide feedback and help goaltenders make any needed adjustments building on the work from the first hour. â€‹
