PRIVATE LESSONS
Looking for one-on-one instruction? G4H coaches can be hired for private or semi-private lessons for any age group, skill level, or position. Coaches will design sessions based on what skills or concepts you wish to improve and will consistently assess other areas of need. These sessions can take place on or off the ice with off-ice sessions consisting of age appropriate stick skill development, shooting, passing, agility, balance, strength, endurance, conditioning and more. Virtual off-ice options are also now available via Zoom to allow players from near and far to train with us. Semi-private, small group, and team training also available upon request.
Note: Though our group programs typically cater to female players, private training and Learn to Skate & Play options are open to players of all genders as G4H is committed to growing the game for all.
Please see below for an outline of our current offerings:
On-Ice Private Lessons
$80 - $150/Hour
Private on-ice sessions are designed based on the needs of the individual player and can work on anything from skating technique and shooting to game concepts. Private Lessons can be scheduled during existing G4H ice times or during personal ice rentals. In the winter months, private on-ice sessions can also be scheduled at outdoor rinks or ponds at players homes or at a mutually agreed upon community location (based on weather).
Off-Ice Private Lessons
$50/Hour
Private off-ice sessions typically combine hockey-related dryland training with stick skills such as puck handling or shooting. Players will build their strength, endurance, balance, and agility while learning proper technique that translates to the ice. Coaches can meet players at home or at a mutually agreed upon community location for training. Coaches can also provide materials for the session such as pucks, cones, shooting boards, nets, etc.
Virtual Private Lessons
$40/Hour
Virtual Private Sessions are similar in structure to Off-Ice Private Lessons, but are hosted through Zoom. To participate, all players need is a stable internet connection and device with video capabilities. We can create a productive lesson plan with as much or as little equipment as you have on hand. The beauty of this option is that players can participate anywhere that they have a device with the internet- even out of state!
