​​Girls 4 Hockey is excited to once again partner with Saint Michael's Women's Ice Hockey, offering our annual Try Hockey for Free & Skate with SMC event.  This year's event will be extra special as SMC WIH will also be celebrating their 25th year as a varsity program!

Join us at 2:45pm for our ceremonial puck drop in celebration of our 25th year as a program.  We'll also have posters and markers so fans can make signs on site to cheer on the team.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle, SMC jerseys for purchase, and more! 

The game will run from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.  Game admission is free for all ages!  Current players are encouraged to wear their youth or G4H jerseys so they can be easily seen in the crowd.

Post-game, youth of all genders ages 4 - 13 will have the opportunity to get on the ice to skate with the Purple Knights.  Participants will be grouped with SMC players.  Current hockey players are welcome, but no skating/hockey experience is necessary.  Participants will have the opportunity to borrow skates and equipment as Vermont State Amateur Hockey Association's Try Hockey Trailer will be on site for the event and volunteers will be available to assist with equipment fitting.  Minimum equipment requirements are skates, helmet, and gloves.
