Sisters of Anarchy Ice Cream* with a special G4H flavor: They're a Rainbow (Includes 4 berries - red raspberries, yellow raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries blended in vanilla ice cream)

Food Trucks Mediterranean Mix* and Penzo Pizza*

G4H also will be tabling with Hockey Demos & Program Information.  G4H & Sisters of Anarchy will also provide hockey and farm-related challenges where attendees can compete to win some G4H gear!  Just for fun lawn games such as cornhole will also be provided.

 

What to Bring:  Lawn Chairs or a blanket for seating (limited seating available at the farm), payment for food/ice cream purchases, and any friends/family who may be interested in attending!  (The farm can also be sunny, so feel free to bring a pop up tent if desired).

Why are we celebrating?

In the summer of 2016, Girls 4 Hockey hosted its first-ever skills clinic with the goal of providing female ice hockey players with an all girls option for skill development provided by an experienced, all-female coaching staff.  That summer, we had just 8 players participate, and weren't sure what the future would hold for the program.  To our surprise, we received several inquiries about future offerings from both past participants and possible newcomers and decided to continue the following summer.

Since then, we have seen exponential growth in the programs we offer and the number of players we serve annually.  We now offer 10+ programs year-round, support teams by providing skill development support, and assist with local grow the game initiatives to help more players (especially females!) fall in love with the sport.  We are also extremely proud to have jumped from serving just 8 players initially, to 170 in 2019.  So far, in 2021, we have served close to 280 with 5 months left to go in the calendar year, which is nothing short of incredible!  We couldn't have done this without our amazing hockey community and we look forward to celebrating with you all!
