A New Mental Toughness
Skills and Strategies to Stay Active, Positive & Motivated with Hockey on Hold
See below for recording of webinar!
With sports in Vermont temporarily on pause and uncertainty surrounding the timeline for return to play, Girls 4 Hockey held a webinar on Sunday, December 13, 2020 to help athletes cope. Led by mental skills coach Nicole Adach, MA, CFSC, attendees learned how they can refocus, reframe, and keep moving forward. Webinar attendees also reviewed skills and strategies to help them maintain physical skills and stay motivated during their time away from the rink. Later in the program, current NCAA players and G4H coaches Abby Dirks (SMC) and Lilly Holmes (UVM) joined the call to discuss their own strategies for keeping their head in the game during this turbulent time.
Though this program was geared towards hockey players, athletes from all sports can benefit from this presentation and were welcome to attend. Parents and coaches also welcome.
